Honor Your Own

All nonprofit organizations attending National Capital Philanthropy Day are invited to participate in the Honor Your Own celebration. This program offers organizations the opportunity to publicly recognize their own exemplary philanthropic supporters.

Organizations may recognize individuals or organizations in any of the event's six award categories: Outstanding Philanthropist, Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer, Outstanding Corporate Partner, Outstanding Foundation Partner, Outstanding Fundraising Professional, or Outstanding Diversity Leader.

To Honor Your Own, complete and submit the application form by October 1, 2008.  To participate, each participating organization must reserve at least a half-table (5 Tickets) at the luncheon.

Your special honoree(s) will be recognized from the podium before hundreds of community leaders during the event.  They will also be highlighted in the National Capital Philanthropy Day program book and will receive a prestigious certificate of honor.

Nonprofit organizations may also nominate individuals, corporations, and foundations for the National Capital Philanthropy Day awards.
